We had a busy weekend last week celebrating our daughter’s 3rd birthday! We had a weekend packed full of Moana decorations, cake, family, and excitement! Last weekend also brought some cooler weather which I loved! We had the windows open all weekend enjoying the cool fall-like air! Fall is my favorite season; I love the crisp air and the fall fashions that come with the season!
Today I want to talk about one of the most popular pieces in the shop (and also one of my personal faves): the Sara top! I’ve gotten so many compliments on this one! This top is easily the most comfortable top that I own. The colors are perfect. I have one of each, but I think the cream color pictured here is my favorite. I loved these darling tops in the summer and I’m loving them now in the fall. I’m a huge believer in a wardrobe that’s flexible enough to be worn in different seasons. This top does that! It has quickly become a staple piece in my wardrobe as a result.
During the summer, I wore the Sara by itself. In the transition to fall, I would layer the top for a cute, but comfortable look. The weather has taken a quick, chilly turn here in Ohio lately, and we seem to be dealing with more of the late-fall weather. I’ve started to rely heavily on jackets and cardigans; the Sara is right at home underneath! In this outfit, I paired the Sara with my favorite colored skinnies (you can find them here from Old Navy) and my favorite ankle boots (here, from Nordstrom). I love colored skinnies and ankle boots for fall!
I love how effortless this top makes an outfit! It can easily go from day to night with the addition of a statement necklace and jacket! Here I’ve paired it with the Lexi jacket! This jacket is so trendy right now, and the suede screams fall! I love the gold zipper details and how soft the suede material is! The Lexi makes a great fall jacket because it’s light enough for the daytime yet still warm enough for the cooler evenings! What are some of your favorite fall go-to pieces? Any new fall trends that you’re excited for this season? Let me know in the comments!
