Welcome back to Emmy Mae Presents! If you’ve read any of my other posts, you’ve read about the incredible people that I’ve come in contact with and how impactful they’ve been in my life. I’ve been blessed by so many people, and so many people have been instrumental to the success of Emmy Mae Boutique, but it’s hard to imagine anyone having a greater impact on the day-to-day success of Emmy Mae than Ali, Morgan, Lauren, and Emily. You know them all pretty well already! Between the four of them, they model and shoot the clothes that are all over the website. They’re the faces behind Emmy Mae! Their value is very tangible as it’s hard to sell clothes without amazing pictures of lovely girls in nice clothes, but they also add an intangible value to everything that goes on at Emmy Mae. Running a small business is challenging and tiring. Sometimes the idea of a photo shoot of 40 outfits in a small window of perfect evening lighting conditions is enough to make me scream. But I always end up refreshed when I’m with these four girls, and I can’t thank them enough for the encouragement they provide to me!
I met the girls during our time at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Lauren and I lived together for three years, and had a lot of the same classes together. I met Ali, Morgan, and Emily through mutual friends. We ended up in Bible study together. It's been a lot of fun getting back with these girls and having them help me in this new adventure.
I wanted to use today’s blog post to provide you with a little more backstory on the girls that mean so much to me so you can see for yourself how lovely they are, not only on the outside, but on the inside as well. Enjoy a glimpse at the faces behind Emmy Mae! Please leave your thoughts in the comments!
I am in my 5th year of teaching kindergarten and first grade special education! I have always wanted to be a teacher and I love working with the little ones! Each day is spent with hugs, smiles, and sticky fingers! When I'm not in my classroom I spend my time with my family and friends! I love exercising, reading, catching up on the latest Netflix Show, and of course shopping the Emmy Mae Boutique!

I grew up in Fairfield, Ohio, where I now teach second grade! You never know what each day will bring. Seven-year-olds really have a way of keeping you on your toes! I believe I seriously have the best gig ever. Not all days are easy but each day is always rewarding. In the summer I apparently model clothes which is way harder than one may think! But when I'm not doing that I'm spending time with my family and friends by the pool. I come from a family with all “M” names... Marc, Maryland, Mallory, Morgan, Madison, Mackenzie. I enjoy traveling both to the beach and of course Disney World. In my free time I like to run outside. I run so I can go out to eat with my hubby, Jeff, who seriously is so awesome! He puts up with all my crazy ideas, below average cooking, and always has a good attitude about life.
