Shipping & Return Policy

Online shopping presents its own challenges! We get that; we’re online shoppers, too. We try our hardest to make your experience at Emmy Mae the best, but sometimes it just doesn’t work out. With that understanding, we want to make your return as easy as possible to get you in the clothes that you love!

Be sure to include your name, order number, and reason for return.

  • Returns: We accept all eligible returns that are postmarked within 14 days of original delivery. We will issue store credit for any purchased items minus shipping charges via a single-use discount code for all eligible returns. To be eligible, returned items must be in their original condition, meaning:
    • Unwashed
    • Unaltered
    • Free of marks and makeup stains
    • Free of animal hair
    • Free of perfume, deodorant, or other scents
    • Original tags are still attached
If we receive your returned item(s) and it does not meet these criteria, we will not refund your purchase and will send your item(s) back to you after receiving payment to cover the cost of re-shipping. If we do not receive your payment for re-shipping within 7 days, your item(s) will be donated to charity.
You are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
If your item arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days of original delivery via email at info@emmymae.com. We will issue you a prepaid return label. Simply mail the damaged item(s) within 7 days and we will process your refund upon receipt and inspection. If upon inspection, your item(s) are not damaged, we will not issue you a refund and will hold your item(s) until receiving payment for all incurred shipping costs. If we do not receive your payment for re-shipping within 7 days, your item(s) will be donated to charity.
  • Exchanges: Due to our business volume, we are unable to guarantee an item you want to receive in exchange will be in stock. If you want to exchange an item, simply purchase your item again in the size or color that you desire. Return your originally-purchased item to the address listed above. Your return must be postmarked within 14 days. If your returned item meets our criteria for eligible returns listed above, we will refund you the value of your original purchase. If items received do not meet the return criteria listed above, your ineligible return will be handled as listed above.
  • Items listed in the "Sale" collection are final; no returns will be accepted.
  • Items received during a giveaway are not eligible for return.
  • We don’t intend to oversell. In the event that it happens, we will notify you by email and refund your purchase.
  • Once shipped, we rely on the USPS to deliver your purchase to you. We will certainly help you resolve any issues that may arise, but the liability in those cases belongs to the USPS.
  • International Buyers – Please Note:
    Import duties, taxes, and other customs fees may be required upon delivery. Those fees are calculated upon arrival by the receiving country so cannot be calculated at the time of purchase or shipping. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
    Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.
